413th Transport Squadron
The 413th Transport Squadron was formerly known as 1st Transport Squadron before redesignation in January 1963. The 1st TS was activated on Tan Son Nhut air base (Saigon) in July 1955. It flew Douglas C-47D Dakotas. The Dakotas were replaced with Fairchild C-119G Flying Boxcars in January 1968.
415th Transport Squadron
The 415th Transport Squadron was formerly known as the 2nd Transport Squadron. The redesignation took place in January 1963. The 415th TS operated C-47D Dakotas and the unit was de-activated in 1973.
417th Transport Squadron
Activated at Tan Son Nhut air base on 1 January 1967 th the 417th Transport Squadron was redesignated to 817th Attack Squadron after re-equipping with AC-47D Spooky gunships, in June - August 1969. The AC-47D Spooky was an armed version of the original equipment: C-47D Dakotas.
419th Transport Squadron
The 419th TS was activated at Tan Son Nhut air base in 1967. It operated C-47D Dakotas.
421st Transport Squadron
The 421st TS was activated at Tan Son Nhut air base in May 1971. They were equipped with Fairchild C-123K Providers. This unit was de-activated in January 1973.

The 423rd TS was activated at Tan Son Nhut air base in July 1971. They were equipped with Fairchild C-123K Providers. This unit was de-activated in January 1973.
425th Transport Squadron

427th Transport Squadron
The 427th Transport Squadron was activated at Phu Cat air base in March 1972. It was equipped with DeHavilland Canada C-7A Caribous. The squadron moved to Da Nang air base (date unknown).
429th Transport Squadron
The 429th transport Squadron was activated at Phu Cat air base in July 1972. It moved to Da Nang and later to Tan Son Nhut air bases at unknown dates.

431st Transport Squadron
The 431st was activated at Phu Cat air base in August 1972. It flew C-7A Caribous. This squadron moved to Tan Son Nhut at an unknown date.
433rd Transport Squadron
There is no information available about the 433rd Transport Squadron. Some C-130As that had escaped to U-Tapao air base and had tailcodes in the Gxx-range (GZA and GZM verified) appear to have belonged to the 433rd Transport Squadron.
435th Transport Squadron
The 435th Transport Squadron was activated at Tan Son Nhut air base in January 1973. The squadron was equipped with Lockheed C-130A Hercules.
437th Transport Squadron
The 437th Transport Squadron was activated at Tan Son Nhut air base in January 1973. They operated Lockheed C-130A Hercules.
