Ex U.S. Navy T-28B 138368 and 138361 of 1st Air Commando Squadron on the ramp at Soc Trang in 1963. These Trojans were flown by mixed USAF / VNAF crews. Later in the war the primitive sand-bag revetments would be replaces with steel and concrete ones which can still be found all over South Vietnam today, now housing People's Army Russian-built jets.(photo: Wayne Buser)
