Republic RC-3 Seabee

	To the left, a Republic RC-3 Seabee, which were to equip the 600 sequence Amphibious Squadons. The plans were later abandoned, but two of these Seabees are known to have been assigned to the 312th Special Mission Squadron at Tan Son Nhut. They were used for patrol flights in the delta region. To the right, another nice and clear photo of an RC-3 that flew with the IDFAF, the Israeli Air Force. It is seen here at a museum in Israel. The particular plane depicted in this photo never flew in Vietnam, but is shown on this page because it is the only clear photo of an RC-3 I could find. (photo: Serge Batoussov)
