For easy operation, maintenance, and supply reasons, this RF-5A belongs to the 522nd FS. Our pilots flew the missions, landed at Bien Hoa AB, crew chiefs unloaded the 70mm rolls of film, and the Liaison Squadron 112 (L-19, U-17A) transported them to Tan Son Nhut AB, which had a laboratory to processed the films for the 716th Squadron. This "modus operandi" helped VNAF greatly to complete its mission on a low budget. I hope you'll enjoy and agree with my explanation. (Yung Nguyen).
