F-5A Freedom Fighter, serial number 64-13332, 23rd Tactical Wing at Nha Trang air base in 1968-69. Wibur Kersey: ”The A-37 was the only jet aircraft to use our base on a regular basis, but there was an air show that day and several F-5s were flying around. It was rumoured that Nguyen Cao Ky piloted this one. (I noticed a message in your guestbook signed as Ky; do you think it was really him? -->Webmaster: me thinks NO!) After the show was over someone from VNAF came to our shop and asked if they could borrow a GTC to start an F-5. I was chosen to tow the unit over, and that's how I got these pictures.
