Ready to go
A nice photograph showing the complete array of strike-aircraft of the VNAF in June 1972 at Bien Hoa air base. Two A-37Bs, two F-5As, and two A-1H Skyraiders all are ready to go on a mission to An Loc. Because they're the slowest, the Skyraiders will take off before the "Chua danh da doi ve" (they who want to go home before they reach the target because they're always short on fuel), the A-37Bs and F-5As. The A-37's in this photo, in this particular mission, were piloted by USAF pilots of the 8th Special Operations Squadron. The Skyraiders and F-5s are piloted by VNAF pilots.
